Purple Clothes

!: Purple Clothes

If you want to make a fashion statement this autumn then you might consider wearing purple. This is the most fashionable colour on the UK high street this autumn and this colour of clothing for women, in particular, can be seen everywhere in a unique mix of styles and fabrics.

Purple tops for women are much in evidence. There are thick, swarm sweaters and lightweight sweaters with both short and long sleeves and they come in several shades from the brightest, richest hue through to mulberry, grape and lilac. Grape looks to be an especially popular colour for accessories such as gloves and scarves, and even umbrellas and hats can be seen. Amongst the blouses, purple stripes on white look smart and would be suitable for office wear but there are other more mixed colour blouses too.

Of the warmer short coats for autumn and winter, there are very stylish jackets in this hot fashion colour both informal and the more classically tailored, such as one example seen of a neat jacket made from boiled wool which is a fabric which seems to be growing in popularity.

Aside from tops, there are skirts; one seen was in black with a very attractive contrasting mulberry pattern, and a few dresses. The dresses seem to be ideal for wearing for an evening out. In women's underwear this warm colour can be seen in a checked pattern having been combined with navy.

Where clothing for men is concerned, this year's hottest colour is much less in evidence. Where this colour is noticeable in men's clothing is with ties. There are many ties made from a wide range of fabrics which contain small or large amounts of purple in their patterns. Often this has been combined with dark red. One particularly stylish combination showed a tie matched with a light blue classic Oxford long sleeve shirt. In men's underwear purple has been included in several slips and briefs in a range of shades from the lightest to the most intense.

If you love clothes, purple is the colour you need to be seen in this autumn!
